Фирма/компания/производитель
Деловое предприятие, преобразующее ресурсы в более дорогостоящие промежуточные или конечные товары и услуги. Фирма (термин, принятый в экономической теории) - это основной субъект экономических отношений, целью деятельности которого является производство товаров и услуг. Фирма является также неотъемлемым звеном теории рынка, в которой объясняется, каким образом фирмы взаимодействуют друг с другом и как их решения о ценах и объеме производства влияют на рыночное предложение и цену (см. Theory of the firm, Theory of markets). Существует несколько организационно-правовых форм компаний: а) единоличное владение (sole proprietorship) - компания, которой владеет и распоряжается одно лицо; б) партнерство (partnership) - компания, принадлежащая двум или нескольким партнерам, которые управляют ею на основе договора о партнерстве; в) акционерная компания( joint-stock company) - компания, собственником которой являются держатели обыкновенных акций. Существует также несколько экономических форм компаний: а) горизонтальная компания (horizontal firm), занимающаяся одним видом производственной деятельности, например сборкой автомобилей; б) вертикальная фирма (vertical firm), занимающаяся двумя или несколькими взаимосвязанными видами производственной деятельности, например, производством запчастей для автомобилей и последующей сборкой автомобилей; в) диверсифицированная или конгломератная фирма (conglomerate firm), занимающаяся несколькими, не связанными друг с другом видами деятельности, например, сборкой автомобилей и выпечкой хлеба.
